Wide-brimmed navy straw hat with handmade silk flowers and 。This hat is visually stunning, and exemplifies the high fashions of the 1930s\'. The shiny, wide bands of straw creatively shape the hat into a cone. There is a gap at the top back that is filled with draped navy fabric. At the top there is a grosgrain bow that secures 3 small balls made of curled navy feathers. The inside of the hat is lined with a black fabric.there is an elastic band attached to the inside to keep the hat in a tilted position. This hat is truly remarkable, and one-of-a-kind! Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation. This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
