This is a rare and striking handcrafted Anatolian folk art belt, featuring three tiers of authentic Turkish Nazar (Evil Eye) Lampwork Glass Beads that are threaded through strips of leather and reinforced on leather end-caps.. The hardware is a classic silver-tone metal buckle and the metal studded detailing has a gold hue. The beads range in color from aqua to deep blue. The beads are in excellent vintage condition. The glass retains a vibrant gloss with the natural irregularities expected of handmade lampwork. The leather has a beautiful aged patina.
