description
An incredibly rare, piece of Red Wing history featuring its original paper retail sales receipt from November 13, 1990. The receipt explicitly matches the 915 model number and documents its original purchase price of $79.95. The Red Wing 915 is highly sought after by heritage footwear enthusiasts because its distinct double-stitched toe cap pattern served as the direct design precursor to today’s iconic Red Wing Heritage Iron Ranger line. This specific pair was manufactured in June of 1983 and sold at an official Red Wing Shoe Store seven years later in 1990.
Features the highly collectible, original vintage Red Wing \"Oil Resisting Cord\" chevron-patterned rubber outsoles and heels. The treads show absolutely incredible preservation, remaining completely crisp with pristine Goodyear welt stitching intact and virtually zero heel drag or wear. The leather is supple with a beautiful natural patina with a scuff on the toe and minor wear. Please review all high-resolution photos for exact condition.
